Get to know two of TAG’s newest team members, Justin Cockle and Jason Fay, co-owners of KIC Refrigeration. Founded in 2014, KIC is a southern California-based full service maintenance and repair company that focuses on supermarkets, convenience stores and commercial buildings. The company became part of TAG’s network through an acquisition that closed earlier this year. Both Jason and Justin will remain involved in the day-to-day operations of KIC while also taking additional executive leadership positions with TAG, leading service operations and our new corporate training program (more on that to come!), respectively.
Jason has been in the refrigeration industry since 1996 beginning as a commercial installer and service technician with a California heating and air conditioning company. He later became a field manager and service training manager and then a facility engineering manager for Sprouts Farmers Market.
Justin has more than 15 years of experience in the industry and worked for eight years for Source Refrigeration and HVAC, holding numerous positions including field supervisor, regional director and senior director of quality and customer care. Source refrigeration is where Justin met Jason and the idea to form their own business started. With the support of their longtime employees, Justin and Jason are excited to join TAG’s network of companies.
“After our conversations with Jim, both Jason and I knew this was a great opportunity to grow our own business operations and be part of a larger enterprise where we can better serve our clients and expand the breadth of services we offer,” explained Justin.
