TAG’s Chief People Officer, Michael Bruno, is a forward-thinking leader who oversees all aspects of human capital strategy—including organizational effectiveness, talent acquisition, professional development, labor relations, compensation, and safety and fleet management. With over 25 years of experience supporting Fortune 250 companies, Michael brings enterprise best practices to TAG’s entrepreneurial environment, creating scalable solutions that deliver immediate value to operating partners.

One of Michael’s greatest joys is witnessing the “aha moment” when leaders at newly acquired companies realize all the tangible benefits of joining TAG—for themselves, their employees, and for the future of their business. He takes immense pride in helping managers navigate challenging/competitive landscapes, developing them to achieve next-level capabilities, and fostering a strong culture of belonging in rapidly changing environments. Comfortable with high levels of ambiguity, he’s known for his ability to make timely decisions without jeopardizing quality.

Before joining TAG in 2020, Michael held HR leadership roles at Air Products & Chemicals and Johnson Controls, Inc. He earned his B.S. from Bloomsburg University and M.S.A. from West Chester University, and he holds a Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) designation.

Based in the East Bay area of Northern California, Michael enjoys spending quality time with his close family and friends.
